    Hadden Frost, the rider of NIGHT PROSPECTOR, reported that the gelding ran too free.

    Liam Jones, the rider of DEAL FLIPPER, reported that the filly missed the break.

    Darryll Holland, the rider of COOL EBONY, which dead heated for third place, reported that his saddle slipped on leaving the stalls.

    Steve Drowne, the rider of BARRICADO (FR), which dead heated for third place, reported that the colt hung left handed in the closing stages.

    Francis Norton, the rider of MOUNTAIN PASS (USA), reported that the gelding ran too free.

    J. Mogford, the rider of AIRMAN (IRE), reported that the gelding was unsuited by the good ground.

    T. Messenger, the rider of INNISFREE (IRE), reported that the gelding had a breathing problem.

    L. Vickers, the rider of NIGHT REVELLER (IRE), reported that the mare had a breathing problem.

    B. Hughes, the rider of ATTICUS BOY (USA), reported that the gelding lost his action.

    D. Crosse, the rider of FLINDERS BAY (IRE), which pulled up, reported that the gelding was lame.

    J. J. Lambe, the trainer of COMMANCHE TOPGUN (IRE), reported that the gelding was unsuited by the good to soft, good in places ground.

    P. Callaghan, the rider of SPIDERS STAR, reported that the saddle slipped.

    The Stewards considered the running of YACHVILI (IRE), ridden by A. P. McCoy and trained by J. J. Lambe, which started evens favourite and finished third. However, having received a report of the trainer’s explanation that the gelding was unsuited by the good to soft, good in places ground, they decided not to hold an enquiry. The Stewards ordered YACHVILI (IRE) to be routine tested.
