Who runs Point-to-Pointing?
As well as issuing the Regulations for Point-to-Point Steeplechases on a yearly basis, the BHA’s Point-to-Point Department issues riders' qualification certificates. The Point-to-Point Department should be contacted if you have any queries regarding Horse Eligibility, Rider Information, Regulations and general information:

The Point-to-Point Owners' & Riders' Association (PPORA) represents all those who actively participate in the sport of Point-to-Pointing, i.e. owners and riders. Trainers are not officially recognised, and owners take full responsibility for the care and conduct of horses registered in their name. However on the day of the meeting the trainer may be questioned if their horse or jockey is involved in a Stewards’ enquiry.
