Dansili provides first femail winner of the Grade 1 Frank E Kilroe Mile

At Santa Anita on Saturday night, Proviso became the first female ever to win the Grade 1 Frank E Kilroe Mile and in doing so became the fifth top level winner for her British-sire, the top class miler DANSILI, who is also responsible for Rail Link, Price Tag, Passage of Time and Zambezi Sun.

Proviso had previously won two Group Three races in France and also finished first past the post in the Gr1 Juddmonte Spinster Stakes at Keenelend on her US debut. Dansili’s progeny have a good record in the United States with Price Tag (Matriarch Stakes Gr1), Diamond Diva (Cashcall Mile Invitational Gr2) and General Jumbo (Kentucky Cup Turf Stakes Gr3) all making their mark at Graded level.
